Whether you have an event coming up, or have staining from smoking, or regularly drinking coffee or tea, we can help you get a whiter smile.

We believe the best, most long-lasting method is the take home tray method.

Impressions for the tray method will be taken at your appointment, and you’ll receive customized trays to use at home. You’ll use them from 15 minutes to 60 minutes for five to seven days to receive optimal results.

At the Gordon Center for General and Advanced Dentistry, we choose the “tray method” as it is less expensive and requires less dietary restrictions after the service.

Bonding

A chipped, slightly broken, or misshapen front tooth can be embarrassing—and we can typically restore your beautiful smile in one appointment and without any anesthesia. We use composite bonding (instead of veneers or crowns) to make the teeth look “normal” again.

The Doctors Leonard and David Gordon have a special tooth bonding system that has 86 different shades which allows them to mimic the natural color and depth variations present in all natural teeth.

If it is possible to bond a front tooth the result will be natural looking and less-expensive than a porcelain crown or veneer. Though to be clear: the size and location of a chip determines how successful bonding will be.

Veneers

Veneers are porcelain coverings that are bonded on the front surface of front teeth to change the shape or color of the individual tooth. They can be used if teeth are smaller or only a little portion of the enamel needs to be removed.

Veneers cannot be used if the tooth is dark, if the teeth are big to start, with certain bites, to replace old veneers, or if tooth shape or size needs to be radically changed.
