What can I do about snoring and sleep apnea?

Oral Appliance Therapy (OAT) for snoring and sleep apnea

Weโ€™re now offering Oral Appliance Therapy (OAT) to treat snoring and sleep apnea. This custom device gently opens the airway to improve nighttime breathing. If you snore or suspect sleep apnea, first talk to your doctor about getting a sleep study.

With a diagnosis, you can:

1) Do nothing,

2) Use a CPAP machine, or

3) Try an oral appliance like OAT.

While CPAP is more effective, many people stop using it. Drs. Leonard and David Gordon are certified by the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine and can provide and monitor OAT in partnership with your physician.

Insurance typically requires you to try or officially decline CPAP before covering OAT. After months of effort, weโ€™re now approved to bill Medicare for OAT, though still out- of-network. If youโ€™ve had a sleep study and are interested in OAT, call us today.
